About KitchenSensAI

KitchenSensAI is a business-to-business service for restaurant kitchen operations. It supports recipes, menu items, checklists, food-safety and temperature logs, waste logs, shifts, stations, announcements, staff messages, training videos, and the Sensai kitchen assistant.

Who may use the service

KitchenSensAI is for restaurant employees and business overseers who are authorized by their employer. Accounts are created only by employer invitation; public self-serve signup is not available.

Use the service only through the role and restaurant tenant assigned to you. Keep your sign-in credentials and staff PIN private.

Workplace data and messages

Your employer controls the operational data entered into KitchenSensAI for its restaurant. That data can include recipes, checklists and submissions, food-safety and temperature logs, waste logs, schedules, announcements, and messages between coworkers.

Use workplace messages and operational records responsibly. Do not enter information you are not authorized to share.

Sensai assistant

Sensai is an in-app kitchen assistant. When it is used, the app sends the typed question and a compact context of relevant recipe, menu, and schedule snippets through a Supabase Edge Function to Groq for AI inference. The app does not send requests directly to Groq, and the Groq API key is kept server-side.

Sensai is provided as an operational assistant. Review its responses against your restaurant’s actual procedures, recipes, and schedules.

Training-video features

Managers can use the camera, microphone, and photo-library or media-video permissions to record or upload training videos. Only grant these permissions when you want to use the related training-video feature.

Billing

KitchenSensAI does not offer in-app purchases, a paywall, a pricing screen, or a subscribe call to action. Billing is handled outside the app with the business.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains the information used in the service, device permissions, service providers, retention information, and privacy rights. It is part of how we communicate our data practices to KitchenSensAI users.
